Mobile International Speedway sold?
Rumors suggesting that Mobile (AL) International Speedway will be sold in the near future are nothing new. Neither are the rumors that NASCAR Camping World Truck Series kingpin Rick Crawford will be the buyer.
Now, Z3Sports.com is investigating numerous tips from reliable sources, suggesting that an agreement has been reached between current owner Ida Fields and Crawford, and the sale is either imminent or complete.

Stroup to enter 35th Rattler 250
Dakota Stroup, who has been the fastest driver everywhere he goes lately, will file an entry on Saturday for The 35th Annual Rattler 250. The addtion of Stroupe, of Owensboro, KY, brings the total Super Late Model paid entry count to 30.

Grill, Little, Smith enter The Rattler 250
Hayden, Alabama's Augie Grill, Satsuma, Alabama's Dale Little and Austin, Texas' Casey Smith have all entered The 25th Annual Rattler 250 at South Alabama Speedway. The grand event rolls on Sunday, March 06, 2011 at 2PM, and tickets are still available.

Southern Race Report returns to 92.5, Z3Sports.com Wednesday
Atlanta, Georgia's 92.5 FM The Bear and Z3Sports.com will once again air Southern Race Report every Wednesday night this racing season, beginning February 23. The hour-long racing talk program will still include The Z3Sports.com Short Track Report, but this time with double the excitment and other bonuses for loyal fans.
Southern Race Report airs each Wednesday at 7:00PM ET on 92.5 FM in metro Atlanta and online at www.z3sports.com. Replays are available on 92.5 FM Friday nights at 10:00PM ET. Replay time slots for Z3Sports.com are yet to be announced.

Lanier offers free trackside parking Saturday
Lanier national (GA) Speedway is offering free trackside parking for a special event they will host Saturday, February 19, 2011. The show will include "drifting," drag racing and qualifying, a car show, a burnout competition and an audio competition.
Regular grandstand admission is $7, with children under age 12 admitted free.
Gates open at 11AM, with practice at Noon. Competition begins at 2PM.
